The Story of Gert Rautenbach Boerdery began humbly in 1957 on a piece of agricultural land called Patentie 3, known to be the third portion of land farmed in the Gamtoos river Valley now better known as "Patensie." It was here that our small family first began cultivating citrus, vegetable production and raising livestock – laying the foundation for what would become a multi-generational farming legacy.
